Ripples (diptych)

At the return, after a stay at Cape Bruny, South Bruny National Park in the beginning of 2024, I painted this painting based on watercolour sketches and memory. Immersing myself into the water at the edge of the Tasman Sea, I wanted to convey the limitless variations of the natural patterns observed, while marvelling at the clarity of the water still found in this day of environmental breakdown.
