Angry Earth

If the earth could speak …

“I grow weary of transient custodians to whom I have offered protection, shelter and nourishment.
I support you with my treasures and resources, enriching your lives, why do you not
respect and cherish me in return?
Why do you continue to squander my offerings, why do you treat me like this.
With my mighty powers of fire and stone, wind and water, my delicate ambassadors, and offerings from sea, land and sky, it prevails upon you to care for me. I could do much you would not like.

Would you understand if I said it this way – you are the tenants I am the landlord! Perhaps its time to re-negotiate the lease and increase the bond!”
