hyphal exchange is a material collaboration of human-fungal becomings. Using locally foraged mushrooms and re-purposed artworks, Gerry’s paper-based assemblage contemplates the stories, cycles and different ways of being that emerge through intimate human-nonhuman relations. Guided by the sensory act of mushroom foraging, hyphal exchange traces the synchronisation of the artists body with the vital forces that define and sustain ecology.
