Linocut, wash and collage

Acacia pycnantha – Honeyeaters once sang outside my window is a eulogy to our native acacias and honeyeaters that are ecologically and culturally significant to both Indigenous culture and to the wider Australian culture.
Honeyeaters and acacias are threatened with extinction from human impacts and climate change.
The unique state print has multi layers of Australia’s national flower – the Golden Wattle (Acacia pycnantha) and collage linocut honeyeaters that are printed with fly wire grid and wattle patterns.
