This print is a narrative of lines that continue to add to the story of my relationship with the isolated and unique landscape of Lake Sorell on Tasmania’s Central Plateau.

The lines of wind, water, insect, plant, light, shadow and memory.

I remain drawn to this environment, continuing to seek the silence that it emits amongst the chaos of our personal and universal worlds.

It is my sanctuary…it nurtures and holds me and offers a certain welcome quietness which resounds in the surroundings….much like the calm which accompanies the dawn, with a clear sky and brilliant colours, washed by rain, after a heavy overnight storm.
