Expanded Landscape (Ellenborough)

Working in collaboration, Fiona Lee and Aaron Crowe explore Biripi Country on the MidCoast of NSW through layered lenses of memory, perception and environmental change. Using lumen printing, photogrammetry and point cloud mapping they documented a landscape in flux – a place that is deeply familiar yet already shifting.

The artists were inviting reflection on ecological transformation, then experienced one so sudden and profound it reframed the entire work.

In the aftermath, the work felt oddly prophetic and charged with new urgency shaped by the disaster and deepening regional precarity.
