Marking Time

‘Marking Time’ is a large-scale work on paper that evolved slowly over 18 months—its surface shaped as much by time and chance as by deliberate intent. Layers of ink were trapped beneath reclaimed plastic sheets, allowing natural processes to guide their flow and settle into glacial-like formations. Certain passages were then reworked, echoing the fragile equilibrium between human intervention and the autonomous rhythms of nature.
