Mother knows best brings together the voices of primary school children who wrote their honest and insightful thoughts about what they do, will do or would do if they could to contribute to a more sustainable world.

Each message, first written on a post-it note for a project called ‘Notes to the future’ has been transformed using homemade inks distilled from seaweed and native botanicals gathered along the local coastline and then inscribed on eco-dyed paper tinted with pigments from the surrounding bushland.

These words form a collective voice- one that speaks directly from Mother Nature’s core and invites us to listen to the next generations words of wisdom, care and common sense.
