Introducing Australia’s Red Kangaroo (Osphranter rufus, syn. Macropus rufus); the world’s largest marsupial and the largest of all kangaroos.

They are not a threatened species, but as with all animals, they face various threats to their existence including (but not limited to): hunting, illegal culling, bushfires, drought, and vehicle strike.

As both an Illustrator and a formally qualified Ecologist, my aim is to use my work to show people the sorts of amazing organisms that we have in Australia, using illustration as a tool to highlight their intrinsic beauty, and to convey their importance for conservation purposes.
