The Irresistible Pastime of Watching Mornings. Garnpung, Willandra Lakes.

Dawn is renewal.

This fleeting transition glimmers with the promise of infinite possibilities. A promise of imminent change is momentarily caught in the pallor of early morning, woven with gleaming droplets of water in their ephemeral suspension.
In its daily return, dawn also reliably dictates its presence to every living thing and all matter. Merciless and benevolent, dawn is indifferent to the world it heralds.

Above all, as I sit and observe these hazy, furtive early morning moments and their visible transformations, doubt sets in.
What do I see? What do I think I see? What do I not know that I do not see? What do I still wish to see but can’t see yet?

Therefore, since the only true certitude is that what I see is not what is, what is real?
